Scottish Hills will host the 42nd Annual Cary City Swim Meet on Saturday, July 11th, 2026. We are thrilled to be hosting this year! Please read through all the information below. The deadline for all entries is Monday, June 29th at 6pm, and all payments are due by Tuesday, June 30th.

GENERAL MEET INFO
The Cary City Meet (CCM) is an invitational that brings all TSA South Division teams together at a single location. This year, 26 teams and over 1,000 swimmers will participate. This is a fun meet and often a season highlight for our swimmers. It is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage participation. Because it falls outside our regular 6-meet schedule, there is a registration fee per swimmer.

TEAM THEME: Neverland
Scottish Hills is known for its spirit at this meet, including costumes, tent decorations, and plenty of dancing! Our Tuesday morning craft that week will be CCM theme-related and used for decorating or dressing up. We also encourage families to come up with their own costumes. Ideas will be sent out via email as we get closer to the meet.

MEET STRUCTURE
Due to the size of this event, it is split into two sessions.

Morning Session (10 and under): 8:00am start, estimated finish 12:30pm
Afternoon Session (11 and up): 2:00pm start, estimated finish 7:30pm
- Swimmers 7 and older may swim up to 3 individual events and 2 relays.
- Swimmers 6 and under may only swim 2 individual events: freestyle and backstroke. Note that the distance for 6-and-under swimmers at CCM is 25 yards, the full length of the pool.

MEET SIGN-UP
Meet entry is open in your SwimTopia account and works the same as a regular season meet. Please go into the sign-up calendar and find Cary City Swim Meet - 10 & Under or Cary City Swim Meet - 11 & Over as soon as possible. The deadline for all entries is Monday, June 29th at 6pm.

Steps to enter:
1. Declare whether your swimmer will attend or not attend.
2. If attending, select their individual events.
3. Indicate whether your swimmer is available for relays. Coaches will assign relays and notify families.
4. Leave any notes for the coaches in the notes section.
5. Click Save.

MEET ENTRY FEES
- Swimmers 6 and under: $15
- Swimmers 7 and up: $25

Payment is accepted by cash, check (made out to Scottish Hills Recreational Club), or Venmo. Place cash or checks in an envelope with your swimmer's name on the front and leave it in the Ribbon Boxes at the pool near the bulletin boards and trophy cases. For Venmo, include your swimmer's full name in the comment so we can track it. Our Venmo handle is SHRC1 (look for the Scottish Hills logo). Payment deadline is Tuesday, June 30th.

VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer sign-up information will be shared by June 30th through SwimTopia. There will be opportunities the day of the meet as well as before and after. We ask that each participating family sign up for one shift. CCM is a major revenue generator for our club and we need everyone to pitch in. Thank you in advance!
