Monday Meet Memo 6/22 - AWAY meet
Happy Monday Sea Lions!
This week is our first away meet! Please read through this email carefully as it covers everything you need to know for Tuesday night at Cary Park Swim Club. As always, bring your own chairs and write your swimmer's initials on their left back/shoulder before arriving. Our warm-ups begin at 5:30pm, so please arrive on time.

MEET DECLARATION
Thank you to all the parents who signed their swimmers up for the meet. If you need to make any last-minute changes, email us at [email protected] and [email protected], or find Amy or Taylor at the meet. If your swimmer needs to leave unexpectedly, please let us know right away, as it affects our relay lineup.
STROKES
Due to Cary Park's 6-lane pool and the number of swimmers attending, all swimmers will compete in 3 strokes instead of 4. Coach Caroline has already assigned each swimmer's strokes, so no action is needed from parents. We wanted to give you a heads-up so there is no confusion when the heat sheets are released.
VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED
The following positions are still open for Tuesday night. Please sign up in SwimTopia if you can help. Reminder that each family is asked to complete 4 shifts per season.

CARY PARK POOL INFORMATION

Pool: 6 lanes, 25 yards, with deck lighting and starting blocks.
Parking: Several rows in the parking lot are reserved for visiting teams (see attached map). Once those fill up, please park on side streets. Do not block intersections or driveways, and do not park on Cary Glen Blvd or around the circle.
Seating: Visiting families may sit on the clubhouse porch, the deck near the lifeguard station, or on the grass outside the pool fence. A View & Go lane is available to watch your swimmer. Due to the small deck, please sit on the porch or grass when not actively watching.
Clerk of Course: Our Clerk will clerk from the porch side gate. Please keep a clear path on the porch for kid pushers to reach the clerk. Make sure your swimmer knows where the clerk is and when to check in.
Restrooms: Swimmers must use the restrooms in the pool area, not in the clubhouse.
Food: Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be available at the concession stand. Food trucks will also be on site.
ARRIVAL TIMES
Home team warm-ups: 5:00pm
Visiting team (SHRC) warm-ups: 5:30pm
Meet begins: 6:00pm
Timers and Officials meeting: 5:40pm in the clubhouse
