MEET DECLARATION

Thank you to all the parents that went in and signed their swimmers up for the meet. As always though, if there are any last-minute changes, please email us at [email protected] and [email protected] or find Ashley or Tami at the meet. If your swimmer needs to leave the meet unexpectedly, please let us know as this causes an issue for our relays if your swimmer listed to swim in a relay.

VOLUNTEER REMINDER

This year, in order to show our appreciation to our families who volunteer above their required (3) shifts, or our Volunteer Leads that volunteer at meets in addition to your season role, we will add your name into the hat for each additional shift you complete for the free swimmer dues drawing at our awards banquet.

MEET INFO

We are hosting Cary Swim Club tomorrow night at our pool. We reserve the SHRC parking lot for the visiting team. Please Park first in the Annie Jones parking lots. Parking can also be along the street on the pool side of Tarbert Drive. Please do not park on both sides of any residential streets and allow driveway clearance for our neighbors. Please do not park or walk in any neighbor’s yard!

Please arrive between 4:45 and 5:00. Warmups for 10 and unders will take place from 5:00-5:15 and warmups for 11 and ups will take place from 5:15-5:30. Prior to arrival, please write your swimmer's initials on their left shoulder (first name initial and first 3 letters of last name) in Sharpie marker.

SEATING INFORMATION

Our team will be seated in the back field (& tennis courts if needed). Before 5pm, you can access the field from Tarbert Drive. After 5pm, the back gate will be open, and you can also access the field from the main gate. Please remind your swimmers to stay off the volleyball court at all times. Due to lingering field wetness from the meet on Saturday, please avoid setting up past the volleyball courts (see attached map). We will have the tennis courts open for over-flow if we run out of space in the back field where indicated on the attached map.

Clerk of Course for our team will be near the deep end of the pool. This allows for easy access from the field for our swimmers. The visiting team will be seated on the pool deck and will be clerking by the small slide.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions will be in the same area as previous home meets. There will be pizza, burgers, and hot dogs, etc. We are still accepting $25 donations per family for concessions if you haven't had a chance yet to contribute. We'll take cash, check, or credit cards. Checks can be made out to SHRC. Thank you!

SPIRIT WEAR - LAST CHANCE

We will be selling Sea Lion spirit wear again tomorrow night! We will have it set up beside concessions. We'll have the new team shirts (sizes available Adult S-3XL), caps, and magnets!

FINAL REMINDERS:

1.Tomorrow is HOME meet.

2. Swim Meet theme this week is Neon

3. We will be doing the Sea Pup Exhibition Swim immediately after Medley Relays. Information about this event has been sent to all our Sea Pup families.

4. Line Ups should be available in the midafternoon tomorrow and will be sent out for you to see your swimmer's assigned heat and lanes. You can also find these in the Swimtopia app. We will also have them printed out and posted on boards on the back fence by the fields for parents and swimmers to see events easily!!
