MEET DECLARATION

Thank you to all the parents that went in and signed their swimmers up for the meet. As always though, if there are any last-minute changes, please email us at [email protected] and [email protected] or find Ashley or Tami at the meet. If your swimmer needs to leave the meet unexpectedly, please let us know as this causes an issue for our relays if your swimmer listed to swim in a relay.

VOLUNTEER REMINDER

This year, in order to show our appreciation to our families who volunteer above their required (3) shifts, or our Volunteer Leads that volunteer at meets in addition to your season role, we will add your name into the hat for each additional shift you complete for the free swimmer dues drawing at our awards banquet.

MEET INFO FROM PRESTONWOOD:

Tomorrow's meet is an AWAY meet at Prestonwood. Please arrive in time for our warm-ups starting at 5:30pm. See below for info from Prestonwood regarding their location, parking, visitor seating, concessions, etc. 

LOCATION:
Prestonwood Country Club
320 Prestonwood Parkway
Cary, NC 27513

Prestonwood is a large facility with 2 pools. Please be aware both of the pools will remain open during our meet, but one of them is for Prestonwood members only.

PARKING:

The parking lot closest to the pool will fill up quickly but your team may use any of the other parking lots, all located within the club complex and at walking distance of the pool. Parking shouldn't be an issue. Parking near the pool is highlighted in yellow on the map attached.

ENTRANCE:

The pool entrance is on the left side of the aquatics and fitness facility on the far end of the parking lot when you come in. It is an outdoor entrance. Look for the golf carts! The entrance is highlighted in red on the map attached.

SEATING:
We will put aside a few shaded cabanas and tables for your swimmers and volunteer check-in. We do have limited seating on the deck, and we encourage your team to bring chairs and tents.

CONCESSIONS:

Our regular hot/cold snack bar and a quick-serve station with cold sandwiches and items will be open to both teams. Note that service at our regular snack bar can be slow at times. CREDIT CARD ONLY - they do not take cash. 

WARMUPS:
Visiting team warm-ups are from 5:30-6pm.

VOLUNTEER MEETING:

There will be a pre-meet briefing promptly at 5:40pm by our volunteer check-in table. Kindly have all people officiating at the meet and yourself in attendance at that time.
