Happy Sunday Sea Lions! Here are the updates for this week! Please read through to the end!
SCHEDULE
Monday: AM and PM practice; Pasta Pump-Up after PM practice
Tuesday: AM practice; Craft after 10 & under practice: This craft will be our CCM costumes described in a previous email. Remember to bring a shirt & $2.00 if you want to participate! Away Swim Meet against Prestonwood (Detailed meet Info will be sent tomorrow in the Monday Meet Memo) Meet theme this week is Cowboys & Country Club
Wednesday: No AM practice; Clinics by MOR @ PM Practice; No Sea Pups Practice
Thursday: AM and PM practice
Friday: AM practice only; No PM practice (Pool will be closing early to prepare for the Cary City Meet on Saturday).
Saturday: No Practice. Cary Cit Meet hosted by Scottish Hills; More details to come out this week!
DECLARE SWIMMER FOR MEET
Please declare your swimmer for the swim meet by 11:59 pm tonight, Sunday. Follow these instructions to declare if your swimmer will swim:
1. Log into your family account at shrcsealions.swimtopia.com.
2. Go to Meets & Events > Sign Up Calendar
3. Click on the green button with a "?" mark that says Meet Entry Open.
4. Under each swimmer click on the drop-down box that says "undeclared" and choose "attending this meet" or "not attending this meet". You will also be asked about relays for each swimmer. Relays occur at the beginning and the end of the meet.
Any changes after Sunday night need to be sent to [email protected] and [email protected]
COACH APPRECIATION GIFT & DINNER
Our coaches work so hard every season with all our swimmers (over 200 this season!). To show our appreciation we give each one of them a gift (typically a gift card) at Awards Night. If you would like to contribute, you can give money to Ashley and Tami or leave it with the pool manager on duty (they will have an envelope at the front desk). Deadline for contributions is July 17th.
Our other way of saying "Thanks" is we host a dinner for the coaches. This dinner will be on Wednesday, July 17th in the screened porch at the pool. We have created a sign-up for food items to bring. PICTURES FOR THE END OF SEASON SLIDESHOW
We are working on gathering pictures for our end of the season slide show. Please email pictures to Kristen Geyer at [email protected]. You can also share a digital album with her at that address. Deadline for photos is 8am on Wednesday, 7/17.
