Register Now for Sea Lions Swimming!
Hello Sea Lion Families!
We are excited to announce that Registration for the 2024 Swim Season is open! The link to register can be found here --> 2024 Swim Team Registration (swimtopia.com). Swim team is open to members of Scottish Hills Recreation Club and we encourage all families interested in registering their swimmers (age 4-18)!
NEW for this season:
In order to expand access to our swim team family, all Sea Pup swimmers will be eligible to participate as members of the team in expanded practice offerings (M-F 6-6:30 & Saturday mornings from 9:30-10) as well as swim team social activities!
If you would like to register for the Sea Pups, please follow the general registration link and select "Non-Meet Swimmer".
The Sea Pups program is a group lesson open to all pool members and is geared towards swimmers ages 3 – 6 with the intention of preparing them for swim team. Swimmers seeking to participate should be comfortable in the pool and must able to put their face in the water. Final goals include developing the confidence and swimming background to be able to swim at least 15 yards of freestyle and/or backstroke without stopping.
** Swimmers who will be not yet be age 4 by June 1 2024 should email [email protected] before registering!
Registration Information
When registration opens, a blue “Register Now” button will appear in the right sidebar of the home page. You will enter parent guardian information, swimmer information, free sponsor t-shirt sizes and complete your payment. After you register, you will be sent an email link that will contain instructions to set up a password for future account use (if you don’t already have a Swimtopia account). In keeping with best practices of recreational sports teams, we will be requiring a copy of every swimmer’s birth certificate. This is for ALL swimmers, but you will only have to provide this once and not at the beginning of every season. We will provide multiple opportunities between now and Time Trials for these to be submitted. They will be kept in a secure location.
Volunteer Requirement
Once the scheduled meets are confirmed, we will be sending out sign-ups for volunteer shifts. Remember that each family is required to fulfill 3 volunteer shifts during the season. We are also looking to fill the following season Volunteer Lead spots:
*TSA Rep (Back Up)
*Meet Set-Up Leader
*Meet Clean-Up Leader
*Stroke and Turn Judge (Need 1)
*Little Swimmer Big Swimmer Leader
*Ribbons
Not only do you get to have a lot of fun (!), but families that sign up for our Volunteer Lead spots do not have to fulfill the 3 volunteer shifts! If you would like to do one of these jobs or have questions about the positions, email us at [email protected].

Eli Hancock is returning to the Sea Lions to take over from Tami and Ashley this season. They have left very big shoes to fill, but it was time for them to hand over the reins.
