The deadline to apply to become a junior coach is fast approaching!! If you are interested in applying, please see the job description and application link below. Applications are due March 18th (3/18)! Interviews for all junior coaching opportunities will take place later in March.

JUNIOR COACHES

Junior Coaches will work with the Head Junior Coach to plan and lead the 6 and under practices and assist the 6 and under swimmers during Time Trials and meets. Please apply if you:

1. will be age 15 by June 1, 2024,
2. have a strong background and/or experience with swimming technique, stroke instruction, and coaching,
3. enjoy working with younger children,
4. have a positive attitude toward swimming and the team, and
5. are available to attend and help at meets.

Important Dates:

• Registration Opens: Monday, April 15th
• Meet the Coaches: May 11th
• Afternoon practices start: Monday, May 13 (pending pool inspection)

• Morning practices start: Saturday, June 8
• Time Trials: Tuesday, June 4 at 6pm
• Swim Meets: Tuesday Evenings at 6pm;
  • 3 Home (6/11, 6/18, 7/16)
  • 3 Away (6/25, 7/2, 7/9)
• Cary City Meet: Saturday, July 13
• Awards Ceremony: Thursday, July 18
