Cary City Meet Results - Scottish Hills won Second Place!

Yesterday was such a fun day! All our swimmers did an amazing job. Cary Swim Club walked away with first place and were great hosts for such an incredible event. It was a HOT one, but there weren't any weather delays thankfully. Thank you to all our parents who volunteered during the meet and the ones who helped organize and make all our awesome team decorations and costumes! And a big thank you to our coaches who were dedicated all day to their costumes and team spirit! It was a memorable time as always!! 

COACHES GIFTS

We love our amazing coaches and to thank them for all they do we get them gift cards at the end of the season! If you would like to contribute, you can give money to Ashley, Tami, or the pool manager on duty (they will have an envelope in the office). Deadline for contributions is Wednesday, July 19th.

Schedule for Week 7/17-7/20

Monday: AM and PM Practice; Pasta Pump-Up after PM Practice - Last one!

• We will also have one last opportunity to buy spirit wear for this season! We have team shirts, swim caps, magnets, and bags. We'll be in the screened porch from 5:30-7pm.
• We'll have the "Color my Coach" jars out as well for any last-minute donations to this fun event we'll have during the awards night. The coaches with the most money will get the MOST color bombs on them! 

Tuesday: AM practice (Last Practice of the season) followed by crafts (homemade cards for the coaches); AWAY swim meet at Cary Swim Club; MEET THEME: Neon!

Wednesday: Relax! Practices are over.

Thursday: Awards Night 6:30pm-9:30pm (More Info will be sent later this week)

Please email pictures to Kristen at [email protected] for our end of the year slideshow. Deadline to send pictures is end of the day Tuesday, 7/18.

Meet Declaration for 7/18 AWAY meet (Last Meet of the Season!):

Please declare your swimmer for the swim meet by 11:59pm tonight!

Follow these instructions to declare if your swimmer will swim:

1. Log into your family account at shrcsealions.swimtopia.com.

2. Go to Meets & Events > Sign Up Calendar

3. Click on the green button with a "?" mark that says Meet Entry Open.

4. Under each swimmer click on the drop-down box that says "undeclared" and choose "attending this meet" or "not attending this meet". You will also be asked about relays for each swimmer. Relays occur at the beginning and the end of the meet.

Any changes after 12am on Monday need to be sent to [email protected] and [email protected]. Relays are very important to sign up for correctly. Dropping out or signing up incorrectly for relays causes a major challenge for our coaches to find replacements at the last minute. While we understand sickness and injuries happen when least expected, the sooner you can let us know of any changes the better!
