WEEKLY SCHEDULE 7/10-7/15
Monday: AM and PM practice; Pasta Pump-Up
- Pasta Pump-Up Signup Link: Pasta Pump Up Signup Reminder to bring enough food that would feed your family + some. We ran out early at the last Pasta Pump-Up and we just want to make sure everyone gets to enjoy the yummy food made by our amazing families!
- Silent Auction Events: Winners from Pie in your Coach's Face and throwing Ryan into the pool will take place after Pasta Pump-Up
Tuesday: AM practice with a craft and snack following the 8:30-9:15 practice; This craft will be our CCM costumes described in a previous email. Remember to bring a shirt & $2.00 if you want to participate!
- HOME Meet against Lochmere (more details will come out tomorrow)
- Meet theme is Christmas in July!
- Sea Pups Exhibition Heat prior to Freestyle (we'll send more info regarding this to our Sea Pup Families)
- Senior Recognition Night
Wednesday: PM practice only
Thursday: AM and PM practice
Friday: AM and PM practice; Fun Friday!
Saturday: No Practice; Cary Cit Meet at Cary Swim Club; More details to come out this week!
MEET DECLARATION
Please declare your swimmer for the swim meet by 11:59 pm tonight, 7/9.
Follow these instructions to declare if your swimmer will swim:
1. Log into your family account at shrcsealions.swimtopia.com.
2. Go to Meets & Events > Sign Up Calendar
3. Click on the green button with a "?" mark that says Meet Entry Open.
4. Under each swimmer click on the drop-down box that says "undeclared" and choose "attending this meet" or "not attending this meet". You will also be asked about relays for each swimmer. Relays occur at the beginning and the end of the meet.
Any changes after 12am on Monday need to be sent to [email protected]. Relays are very important to signup for correctly. Dropping out or signing up incorrectly for relays causes a major challenge for our coaches to find replacements at the last minute. While we understand sickness and injuries happen when least expected, the sooner you can let us know of any changes the better!
END OF YEAR SLIDESHOW PICTURES NEEDED!
Please email pictures from this season to Kristen Geyer at [email protected] for our end of year slideshow we show at Awards Night. You can also share a digital album with her at that address. Deadline for picture submittal is Tuesday, July 18th.
COACHES GIFTS
We love our coaches and all their hard work they put in each season! We like to show our appreciation through gift cards and homemade cards from our swimmers at the end of the season. If you would like to contribute, you can donate money to go towards gift cards and/or make homemade cards. You can give these to Ashley and Tami or leave them with the pool manager on duty (they will have a folder in the office). Deadline for contributions is July 19th. Thanks!!
