MEET DECLARATION

Thank you to all the parents that went in and signed their swimmers up for the meet. As always though, if there are any last-minute changes, please email us at [email protected] and [email protected] or find Ashley or Tami at the meet. If your swimmer needs to leave the meet unexpectedly, please let us know. Failure to do so can result in your swimmer not being allowed to swim relays in the future. We are likely counting on your swimmer for relays (unless you specified otherwise), so when a swimmer decides at the last minute, they don't want to swim a relay, it causes quite a challenge for our coaches to find a replacement at the last second and if they are unable, it is very disappointing to the other swimmers in that relay when they are told we can't do it!

MEET INFO

THEME: RED, WHITE, & BLUE

We are hosting Prestonwood Wednesday night at our pool. Please arrive between 4:45 and 5:00. Warmups for 10 and unders will take place from 5:00-5:15 and warmups for 11 and ups will take place from 5:15-5:30. Prior to arrival, please write your swimmer's name on their left shoulder (first initial, first 3 letters of last name) in Sharpie marker. 

PARKING

REMINDER! We reserve the SHRC parking lot for the visiting team. Please Park first in the Annie Jones parking lots. Parking can also be along the street on the pool side of Tarbert Drive. Please do not park on both sides of any residential streets and allow driveway clearance for our neighbors. Please do not park or walk in any neighbor’s yard!

SEATING INFORMATION

Our team will be seated in the field. Before 5pm, you can access the field from Tarbert Drive. After 5pm, the back gate will be open, and you can also access the field from the main gate. Please remind your swimmers to stay off the volleyball court at all times.

Clerk of Course for our team will be near the deep end of the pool this week. This allows for easy access from the field for our swimmers. Sunset Ridge will be seated on the pool deck and will be clerking by the small slide.

CONCESSIONS

We hope you have been enjoying the concessions this year and we really appreciate your support. Many thanks to the volunteers that stand out in the heat and grill the burgers and hot dogs. It's a hot job!!! Reminder!! If you have not paid your $25.00 per family concessions donation, please bring your money this Wednesday. We use these funds to help purchase all the food! We still have about 50% of families that haven't paid. Thank you for supporting the Sea Lions concessions and please let us know if you have any recommendations or feedback. This week we'll have the same items as previous weeks! It's all a great deal!!

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to volunteer tomorrow night! There are several slots still open. Please sign up if you can help out. We will walk you through everything you need to do!

SPIRIT WEAR

We will be selling Sea Lion spirit wear again tomorrow night! We will have it set up beside concessions. We'll have the new team shirts (more sizes now available Adult XS-3XL), caps, bags, and magnets! 

ALUMNI RELAY

The special meet relay this week will be an alumni relay! If you are interested reach out to [email protected]!

FINAL REMINDERS:

1.Wednesdsay is a HOME meet.

2. Swim Meet theme this week is RED, WHITE, & BLUE!

3. Line Ups should be available by midafternoon on Wednesday and will be sent out for you to see your swimmer's assigned heat and lanes. We will also have them printed out and posted on boards on the back fence by the fields for parents and swimmers to see events easily!!
