Sea Lions! Here are your updates for this week!

Please note that our schedule this week is different due the 4th of July on Tuesday. NO practices on Monday or Tuesday! Practices resume Wednesday morning and our meet this week is on Wednesday night.

Practice Schedule Calendar

Monday: No practice or Pasta Pump-Up; Enjoy the long weekend!!

Tuesday: July 4th Holiday!! No practice, but definitely not a day to skip the pool. There will be tons of fun events and a hot dog lunch is provided to our members. It's always a great day!!

Wednesday: AM practice followed by crafts; HOME swim meet against Prestonwood; Theme: Red, White, and Blue

Thursday: PM practice only

Friday: AM and PM practice

Saturday: AM practice and Sea Pups

MEET DECLARATION

Please declare your swimmer for the swim meet by 11:59 pm tonight, 7/2.

Follow these instructions to declare if your swimmer will swim:

1. Log into your family account at shrcsealions.swimtopia.com.

2. Go to Meets & Events > Sign Up Calendar

3. Click on the green button with a "?" mark that says Meet Entry Open.

4. Under each swimmer click on the drop-down box that says "undeclared" and choose "attending this meet" or "not attending this meet". You will also be asked about relays for each swimmer. Relays occur at the beginning and the end of the meet.

Any changes after 12 am on Monday need to be sent to [email protected]. Relays are very important to signup for correctly. Dropping out or signing up incorrectly for relays causes a major challenge for our coaches to find replacements at the last minute. While we understand sickness and injuries happen when least expected, the sooner you can let us know of any changes the better!

CARY CITY MEET REMINDER

Cary City Meet is Saturday, July 15th! Cary Swim Club will host this year. The deadline to sign-up and pay the registration fee is Wednesday, July 5th! (You can pay by Cash or Check; Checks can be made out to SHRC. Please leave your money in the ribbon boxes we have under the main shelter by the trophy case). This year our theme is Sesame Street. COLOR YOUR COACH FUNDRAISER

This year we will be collecting money to color bomb your coach at the award's night! You will find jars with your coach's names located at concessions at the meet this week. Drop your change in there. The more money each coach receives, the more color bombs they will get! We'll have this in the fields behind the pool. It will be a really fun event for everyone to end the season!
