Happy Sunday Sea Lions! Here's your weekly update for 6/26-7/1!

INFO REGARDING THE MEET THIS WEEK

Parents, our meet this week is an AWAY meet against Abbington. They are a 6-lane pool. Swimmers will swim 3 strokes instead of 4 again this week like they did against Sunset Ridge. This will hopefully ensure this meet does not end past 11pm. Also, another reminder about relays: Coach Ryan will do his best to get swimmers into relays that have signed up, but with only 6 lanes, do not expect to swim in both if you have signed up for both!

Practice Schedule Calendar

Monday: AM and PM practice; Pasta Pump-Up and games with the coaches

Tuesday: AM practice with a craft and snack following the 8:30-9:15 practice; Away Swim Meet at Abbington Alligators (more details will come out tomorrow)

Wednesday: PM practice only; Clinic by MOR Swim Club

Thursday: AM and PM practice; AM Practice will have a Clinic by RSA Swim Club

Friday: AM and PM practice

Saturday: AM practice, Sea Pups at 9:30am

MEET DECLARATION

Thank you for all the parents who have already declared their swimmers for the meet. As you can imagine, it makes the job much easier for all the behind-the-scenes helpers when that information is correct!

Deadline to signup up in 11:59pm tonight for Tuesday's meet. Follow these instructions to declare if your swimmer will swim:

1. Log into your family account at shrcsealions.swimtopia.com.

2. Go to Meets & Events > Sign Up Calendar

3. Click on the green button with a ? mark that says Meet Entry Open.

4. Under each swimmer click on the drop down box that says "undeclared" and choose "attending this meet" or "not attending this meet". You will also be asked about relays for each swimmer. 6 and unders do not swim in relays. Relays occur at the beginning and the end of the meet.

There are instructions attached to this email for doing the meet declaration in the Swimtopia app.

Any changes after 12 pm on Monday need to be sent to [email protected] and [email protected]

TUESDAYS MEET THEME

White Out! Wear white!

SPIRIT WEAR

We will be selling our spirit wear tomorrow evening starting around 5pm. We'll be set up in the screened porch. We have the new team shirts (Adult XS-3XL sizes available) for $15. We'll have caps ($5/$10), bags ($5), and car magnets ($5). Our spirit wear from past seasons will be available now for discounted prices as well. Stop in and pick something up! We take cash, check, and credit cards!

COLOR YOUR COACH FUNDRAISER

This year, in lieu of the bug shake fundraiser (which we know the coaches will be really bummed about.....), we will be collecting money to color bomb your coach at the award's night! You will find jars with your coach's names located at concessions at the meet. Drop your change in there. The more money each coach receives, the more color bombs they will get! We'll have this in the fields behind the pool. It will be a really fun event for everyone to end the season!
