Good evening, Sea Lions!

We are so excited to start practices tomorrow in the pool! For new families who aren't familiar yet with all things swim team, on Sunday evenings we send out emails regarding information for the upcoming week. On Mondays, once the meets begin, we'll send out specific Meet Info emails. If we ever need to cancel practices due to inclement weather, etc. that communication is sent via email and text. 

PRACTICE INFORMATION

4-5pm for 11 and ups

5-6pm for 7-10s 

5:45-6:30pm for 6 and unders

All swimmers need to wear/bring the following to practice:

-tennis shoes and socks (for any dry land activities the coaches have planned)

-swim suit and goggles

-towel

-water bottle

Just a reminder that the pool is not open for swimming, with the exception of swim team practice times. Parents are allowed on the pool deck, but only the swim team is allowed in the water until the pool opens for members.

Rising 6th Graders that are in the 11 and ups practice: We know it's a challenge for these swimmers to get to the 4pm practice on time due to when they get home from school. The coaches are aware we have a few of these swimmers, and it is ok to arrive a little late to this practice. Please do not stress about it. It's summer swim! We'll make it work. Remember, having fun is one of our priorities!

Our team swimsuits are available at Kiefer Aquatics/All American Swim. Just tell them you are with Scottish Hills, and they will know which suit is for us!

FOR NEW SWIM TEAM FAMILIES

We are so happy to welcome many new families to our Sea Lion family this season! Ashley and/or Tami will be available at practices to answer any questions that you may have! We will have our New Parents Meeting under the back shelter on Friday, May 19th @ 5:45pm to answer any questions you all might have! We know it's a lot at first, but we are here to help any way we can!

If you weren't able to make it to Meet the Coaches yesterday, you still have plenty of time to bid on our Silent Auction this season! We have a lot of fun items to pick from. They will be located under the main shelter on the wall behind the air hockey table. We will accept bids until Memorial Day at 5pm! Don't forget to check them out during practices.
