Cary City Meet Results - Scottish Hills WON!!

Yesterday was such a fun day! The weather cooperated (for the most part) and everyone loved being back. I overheard a swimmer from another team saying how happy they were to be back at Cary City!! We're all so proud of our Sea Lions. They did an incredible job and our coaches love watching their effort each week and seeing their team spirit!! We also have to give a massive thanks to all the volunteers that made Cary City happen yesterday. Crystal Holladay, Laura Levandoski, Kristen Geyer, and Charity Cleary did a wonderful job leading the effort organizing and planning every detail of this event. We are all so grateful for everyone's time and commitment to this team and pool. If you were interested in the final results from the meet, they are attached to this email.

Coaches Gifts

We love to thank our coaches at the end of the season for all their hard work with gift cards! If you would like to contribute, you can either donate money, gift cards or homemade cards by giving them to Ashley and Tami or the pool manager on duty (they will have an envelope in the office). Deadline for contributions is July 21th.

Monday: AM and PM Practice; Pasta Pump-Up after PM Practice - Last one!

Tuesday: AM practice (Last Practice of the season) followed by crafts; HOME swim meet against Walden Creek

Wednesday: Sea Lion Olympics! Check-in is at 5:30pm. Games start right at 6pm!

Thursday: Awards Night 6:30pm-9:15pm (More Info will be sent later this week)

Pictures for End of Year Slideshow

We are already working on gathering pictures for our end of the season slideshow. As you take pictures of your swimmer and Sea Lion events, please email pictures to Kristen at [email protected]. You can also share a digital album with her at that address.

Meet Declaration for 7/19 HOME meet (Last Meet of the Season!):

Please declare your swimmer for the swim meet by 11:59 pm tonight, 7/17.

Follow these instructions to declare if your swimmer will swim:

1. Log into your family account at shrcsealions.swimtopia.com.

2. Go to Meets & Events > Sign Up Calendar

3. Click on the green button with a "?" mark that says Meet Entry Open.

4. Under each swimmer click on the drop-down box that says "undeclared" and choose "attending this meet" or "not attending this meet". You will also be asked about relays for each swimmer. Relays occur at the beginning and the end of the meet.

Any changes after 12am on Monday need to be sent to [email protected] and [email protected]. Relays are very important to signup for correctly. Dropping out or signing up incorrectly for relays causes a major challenge for our coaches to find replacements at the last minute. While we understand sickness and injuries happen when least expected, the sooner you can let us know of any changes the better!
