MEET DECLARATION

Thank you to all the parents that went in and signed their swimmers up for the meet. As always though, if there are any last-minute changes, please email us at [email protected] or find Ashley or Tami at the meet. If your swimmer needs to leave the meet unexpectedly, please let us know as this causes an issue for our relays if your swimmer listed to swim in a relay.

Make Tuesday's Meet Sweet! by bringing your Little Swimmer their favorite sweet treat. Little Swimmers, feel free to do this for your Big Swimmer if you'd like. 

MEET INFO

Tomorrow's meet is an AWAY meet at Medfield Swim Club. See below for info from Medfield regarding location, parking, visitor seating, concessions, etc.

LOCATION:

Medfield Swim Club is located at 1401 Baker Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607

PARKING:

Our parking is limited, but we are reserving most of our parking lot for your team. There will be a few spaces reserved for our swim team board as we may be arriving late with food. Carpooling as much as possible is advisable since you have a large team. Street parking is also available and will need to be significantly utilized, but we are asked to make sure that everyone parks on only one side of the street so that emergency vehicles can get through if necessary. We plan to have cones and signs blocking off one side of the street closest to the parking lot where parking is not permitted. Parking lot and street lighting is meager so you may want to bring flashlights for the walk back to your cars after the meet.

VISITING TEAM AREA:

We have a visitor's section reserved for your team. As you walk into the pool area, this section will be located on the left side of the pool deck. We have some chairs, but we suggest that you bring extras to assure that you have a seat. Your swimmers may also use the small field outside the fence behind the clerk of course to spread out. We do not have a lot of shade on deck, especially early during the meet, and the field is surrounded by trees and will be the area that gets the most shade overall. Y'all are welcome to bring small canopy tents. We also have tennis courts that overlook the pool area and are encouraging parents and spectators from both teams to sit there so that the deck won't be so crowded. They are welcome to come down to the deck to watch their kids swim of course. Note: Parents and swimmers may not sit in the grass directly behind the blocks as this is the Clerk of Course area and can already get a little crowded at times.

COACHES/PARENTS RELAY:

We would like to hold a parent/coaches relay event following the breaststroke and we hope that your coaches and parents (if any are interested) will participate. 

VOLUNTEERS:

Timers, officials, judges, etc. meeting will be held at approximately 5:45 PM in front of the concessions area.

Chick-Fil-A sandwiches

Pizza by the slice 

Jersey Mike's sandwiches 

Water, Gatorade, Sodas 

Candy & Frozen treats
