Good evening Swim team families,

There will be no practice on Monday, May 16th or Tuesday, May 17th.

Due to some last-minute maintenance that is taking place around the pool, the pool inspection has been delayed and is now scheduled for Wednesday, May 18th. Until the pool passes inspection, no one (other than pool staff & board members) is allowed on the pool deck (this includes the bathrooms currently as well). As a result, we will unfortunately have to hold off on beginning practices until the pool passes inspection. 

Our hope every year is to be able to get in the water at the start of the season. But we all know this doesn't always go according to plan. If we aren't fighting weather, then it's the pool temperature we are waiting on, and on rare occasions, pool inspection.

We wish we could give everyone a confirmed schedule for the week, but we just won't be able to make any further decisions on practice options until we get through Wednesday. We will send out a Wednesday update as soon as we know more. 

Thank you to everyone for being patient with us as we navigate through this unknown schedule. Hopefully it will only be a couple of days off and then we can start our season and never look back!

Communication this season will be routinely sent out on Sundays with information regarding the week and then again on Mondays with meet specific information for that week.

PRACTICE INFORMATION

Practice begins tomorrow from 4-5 pm for 11 and ups and from 5-6 pm for 10 and under! Click here for the full calendar.

All swimmers need to wear/bring the following to practice:

-tennis shoes and socks

-swim suit and goggles

-towel

-water bottle

Just a reminder that the pool is not open for swimming, with the exception of swim team, once it passes inspection. Parents are allowed on the pool deck, but only the swim team is allowed in the water until the pool opens for members.
