MEET INFO

We are hosting Silverton tomorrow night at our pool, but swimming Prestonwood virtually. The theme is Super Hero!  Please arrive between 4:45 and 5:00. Warm ups for 10 and unders will take place from 5:00-5:15 and warm ups for 11 and ups will take place from 5:15-5:30. Prior to arrival, please write your swimmer's name on their left shoulder (first initial, first 3 letters of last name) in Sharpie marker. We reserve the SHRC parking lot for the visiting team. Please park first in the Annie Jones parking lots. Parking can also be along the street on the pool side of Tarbert Drive. Please do not park on both sides of any residential streets and allow driveway clearance for our neighbors.

Seating and Viewing Information: -Our team will be seated in the field. Before 5 pm, you can access the field from Tarbert Drive. After 5 pm, the back gate will be open and you can also access the field from the main gate.

-We heard great things about allowing 11 and ups to sit together last week.  So, we are going to allow 11 and ups to sit together again this meet on the back side of the pool deck behind the coaches.  Please remind your swimmers to be respectful, give the coaches plenty of room and to pick up their trash.

-You can view your swimmer from the hill in the field or from the area behind the large slide. Please do not gather in the area at the finish line. The exception to this is that 6 and under swimmers and Sea Pups can have one parent wait for them at the finish line. This area serves as a walkway and timing area ONLY.

-Swimmers are allowed to cheer for their teammates from the area behind the large slide.

-Please do not stand or use the wooden decks as walkways- the exception to this is for handicapped seating.

-Please do not sit on or move any deck furniture.

Clerk of Course for our team will be near the diving well this week. This allows for easy access from the field for our swimmers. Silverton will be seated on the deck behind the small slide and the tennis courts and will be clerking by the small slide. Their viewing area is behind the shallow end.

Concessions will be located in the same area as last week. There will be pizza and Chick-fil-A. Larger quantities have been ordered since we sold out last week! We will have specialty kettle corn from our sponsor, Pedal to the Kettle! Yum! Be sure to try it! 

Pelican's will also on site with flavored shaved ice! They accept cash and card!

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Every week during the season, our coaches choose 4 Swimmers of the Week. These swimmers are chosen for not only consistently attending practice, but giving it their all physically and with a great attitude! These swimmers get to proudly display a yard sign for the week and also get a special prize from the coaches. These week's swimmers are....

SEA PUPS and SENIOR NIGHT

Our Sea Pups will be swimming in an exhibition heat prior to freestyle.  Be sure to cheer these future Sea Lions on!

We will also recognize our seniors tomorrow night after breaststroke is complete!  Congrats to our seniors!

COACHES GIFTS

We love to thank our coaches at the end of the season with gift cards! If you would like to contribute, you can either donate money, gift cards or homemade cards by giving them to Laura and Crystal or the manager on duty (they will have a folder in the office). Deadline for contributions is July 20th.

CASH FOR CRICKETS

We are doing another FUNdraiser....CASH FOR CRICKETS! Bring your cash to the concessions table and dump it in the jar of the coach that you would like to see down an INSECT-I-SHAKE at our Awards Night (complete with chocolate covered crickets!!!). Currently, Coach Ryan is in the lead just in front of Coach Preston!

VOLUNTEERS

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to volunteer tomorrow night! There are several slots still open. Please sign up if you can help out. We will walk you through everything you need to do!

Line Ups should be available in the mid afternoon tomorrow and will be sent out. Note that you can also see your swimmer's assigned heat and lanes in the Swimtopia app!
